# Archived Documentation

This directory contains archived documentation that has been superseded by newer consolidated documents.

## Archive Policy

Documents are archived when:
- They are superseded by a newer consolidated document
- They contain outdated information
- They are duplicates of other documents
- They are historical status reports no longer needed for operations

### 2026-02-08: Superseded network + pruned 00-meta

- **05-network-superseded/** — CLOUDFLARE_TUNNEL_ROUTING_ARCHITECTURE, CENTRAL_NGINX_ROUTING_SETUP (use CLOUDFLARE_ROUTING_MASTER and RPC_ENDPOINTS_MASTER instead).
- **00-meta-pruned/** — 27 one-off status/completion/planning/script-audit docs (batch 1: 10; batch 2: 17). Use NEXT_STEPS_OPERATOR, REMAINING_WORK_DETAILED_STEPS, OPERATIONAL_RUNBOOKS.
- **verification-evidence-old/** — Pruned 2026-02-08: verification run folders before 2026-02-06 (72 folders). Current runs remain in docs/04-configuration/verification-evidence/.
- **deployment-reports/** — Deployment/cutover snapshots (e.g. 2026-01). **Obsolete for routing:** see [deployment-reports/README.md](deployment-reports/README.md) and live docs above.

## Accessing Archived Documents

Archived documents are kept for historical reference but should not be used for current operations. Refer to the active documentation in the main `docs/` directory.

## Restoration

If an archived document needs to be restored, move it back to the main `docs/` directory and update the MASTER_INDEX.md accordingly.
