# DBIS Architecture Atlas - High-Level Overview

## Introduction
|
|
|
|
The Digital Bank of International Settlements (DBIS) is a comprehensive financial infrastructure system designed to serve 33 Sovereign Central Banks (SCBs) and their associated private banking networks. This document provides a high-level overview of the system architecture, major components, and their interactions.

## System Architecture Overview

DBIS operates as a **meta-sovereign financial infrastructure** that enables:
